Journey-to-Work: Provides geographic identification number for each standardized geographic area identified by CTPP for which data can be obtained for Journey-to-Work. There are a total of 25 standardized geographic regions.
Journey-to Work: Provides fourteen field names associated with a GEOCODE which can be used to establish a link with CTPP geographic data files (with .dbf, .shx and .shp file extensions).Please refer the README_URBAN in the pre-zipped files for the geographic data file names and their respective tabular data GEOCODE field names.
Time leaving home to go to work - Total and peak period by Means of Transportation to work. The various fields under this table are a cross tabulation of one or more variables. In this table, workers 16 years and over who did not work at home is the universe and time leaving to go to work and means of transportation are the cross tabulations. There are a total of 38 cross tabulations within each standardized geographic region.
Aggregate number of vehicles used in travel to work by time leaving home to go to work--Total and Peak Period. The various fields under this table are a cross tabulation of one or more variables. In this table the number of persons 16 years and over who did not work at home is the universe and aggregated number of vehicles and time leaving home are the cross tabulations. There are a total of 2 cross tabulations within each standardized geographic region.
Number of workers per vehicle by time leaving home to go to work--Total and Peak Period. The various fields under this table are a cross tabulation of one or more variables. In this table the number of persons 16 years and over using car, truck or van is the universe and number of workers per vehicle time leaving home are the cross tabulations. There are a total of 2 cross tabulations within each standardized geographic region.
Aggregate number of vehicles used in carpooling by time leaving home to go to work--Total and Peak Period. The various fields under this table are a cross tabulation of one or more variables. In this table the number of persons 16 years and over who carpool is the universe and workers per carpool and time leaving home are the cross tabulations. There are a total of 2 cross tabulations within each standardized geographic region.
